Lampard Confirms Moses Is Returning To Chelsea With A View To Another Move

Chelsea coach Frank Lampard has confirmed that Victor Moses's loan stint at Fenerbahce is all but over, despite the initial agreement between the Premier League side and Turkish club expiring at the end of the 2019-2020 season.

The former Nigeria international has seen injuries curtail his appearances in the Super Lig this term, playing only six games to date.

Antonio Conte's Inter Milan have been strongly linked with a move for Moses in the January transfer window and a loan deal is being mooted.

On Sunday, Giuseppe Marotta, the CEO of the Nerazzurri, revealed that the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner is a candidate to bolster the squad after a proposed swap deal involving Matteo Politano and Leonardo Spinazzola fell through.

In Monday's pre-match press conference monitored by allnigeriasoccer.

com, Lampard was asked to react to reports that Moses might be on his way to Inter Milan.

"On Victor Moses, he is obviously coming back from his loan with a view to go elsewhere and those talks are ongoing as well,'' Lampard said.

Moses, 29, has a contract with Chelsea until the end of the 2020-2021 season.
