Liverpool 'move Firmino's place in the dressing room' to accommodate Minamino

Liverpool have shifted Roberto Firmino's place in the Anfield dressing room in order to accommodate new arrival Takumi Minamino.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Jurgen Klopp's men sit in number order, meaning No 9 Firmino would be between Naby Keita and Sadio Mane.

But to help Minamino settle as quickly as possible at Anfield, the Japan international has taken that place and Firmino has had to move.

Both Keita and Mane arrived at Liverpool via the Red Bull production line - Mane played for Salzburg, Minamino's former club, while Keita played for Red Bull Leipzig in Germany.

Minamino joined Liverpool in a £7.25million move from Salzburg in the January window after impressing Jurgen Klopp with his displays against the Reds in the Champions League.

He has taken the No 18 shirt and made his debut in Sunday's FA Cup win over Everton at Anfield.
