Ter Stegen: Setien is trying to change the way we do things

Marc-André ter Stegen has fully recovered from the knee problem which kept him out of the club's most recent matches. He says new manager Quique Setien is trying to change things at Barcelona after replacing Ernesto Valverde as manager.

"We've got a new coach now who is trying to change a few things. Logically, everyone has their own style of football and their own way of expressing their ideas. We'll listen to them and try to successfully carry them out."

Despite the upheaval in the coaching department, Ter Stegen insists the objectives for this season haven't changed.

"I am already training with the group, it makes me very excited to be with them again and enjoy what I like most.

"We really want to stay top of La Liga and progress in the Champions League, we have a long way to go and we will give the best version. Let’s go for everything."

Ter Stegen is still awaiting the green light from the medical staff to play again but he feels he is ready to return.
