Zidane leaves out Bale, Nacho and Rodrygo for Madrid derby

Zinedine Zidane has once again left Gareth Bale out of his matchday squad ahead of Real Madrid's clash with Atletico Madrid at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday night.

The Welshman has played just two matches for Los Blancos since the turn of the year, which were against Getafe and Unionistas de Salamanca.

The other players not included in the 19-man squad are Rodrygo Goes, Nacho Fernandez and Brahim Diaz, while Eden Hazard has not recovered in time, despite appearing in Real Madrid's last two training sessions.

As usual, Mariano Diaz has also not been named in the squad.

Real Madrid's 19-man squad to face Atletico Madrid:
Goalkeepers: Thibaut Courtois, Alphonse Areola, Diego Altube.

Defenders: Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Marcelo, Ferland Mendy.

Midfielders: Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Casemiro, Fede Valverde, James Rodriguez, Isco.

Forwards: Karim Benzema, Lucas Vazquez, Luka Jovic, Vinicius Junior.
