Benzema is in search of his shooting boots

The goals have dried up for Karim Benzema. The Frenchman has scored just twice in his last 11 games for Real Madrid.

Those two strikes came against Real Zaragoza in the Copa del Rey and Osasuna in LaLiga Santander.

Despite his barren run, Benzema has still been Real Madrid's main source of goals this season.

Gareth Bale has been out of form, Luka Jovic hasn't had the opportunities and Eden Hazard has seen his campaign disrupted by injury.

In fact, only Robert Lewandowski (48 goals), Lionel Messi (45) and Kylian Mbappe (39) scored more goals than Benzema's 35 in 2019.

This season, Benzema's 18 goals mean he's Real Madrid's top scorer in all competitions ahead of Rodrygo Goes on seven in second place.

Zinedine Zidane will be hoping his hitman can start finding the net regularly again ahead of upcomings matches against the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona. Follow us on Twitter and on Facebook
