Kepa to be dropped again by Chelsea

There is growing concern around Kepa Arrizabalaga's continued absence from Chelsea's starting line-up.

The goalkeeper looks set to miss out for a fifth consecutive game as coach Frank Lampard continues with Willy Caballero between the sticks, something which is made all the more worrying for Kepa as Chelsea face Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Lampard's lack of faith in the Spanish stopper is beginning to cause friction within the club and the Spanish national team.

There are even rumours that the Chelsea boss plans to sell the keeper in the summer, but this has been ruled out by all parties.

Within the club, there are questions about Lampard's judgement as he continues to drop a world record signing for a 38-year-old keeper.

Under former Spain coach Robert Moreno, Kepa was handed the No.1 shirt, and although Luis Enrique prefers David De Gea, Kepa is an important member of the national squad.

Naturally, there is a worry that Kepa's lack of playing time might affect his form going into Euro 2020. Follow us on Twitter and on Facebook
