Messi links up with Ansu Fati and forgets Griezmann

Ansu Fati  has been breaking scoring records in LaLiga Santander and the Champions League this season and he did it again on Sunday night.

The wonderkid scored two goals in the space of two minutes (103 seconds to be exact) during Barcelona's 2-1 win over Levante.

This made him the youngster player in LaLiga Santander history to score two goals in one game at 17 years and 94 days.

Ansu Fati's upshot in form comes at the time when he needed it most after months without a goal and just as Ousmane Dembele returns to fitness.

Ovation
The Camp Nou crowd stood up to applaud Ansu Fati off the pitch when he was substituted in the 86th minute against Levante.

"I've always dreamed of this moment and today it's come true," Ansu said.

"I want to thank my teammates and my coach for giving me another opportunity."

Messi link-up
Both of Ansu Fati's goals came via passes from Lionel Messi and it seems the Argentine prefers to link up with the youngster than Antoine Griezmann.

During the win over Levante, Messi and Griezmann passed to each other six times in total - three times each.

"I've spent many years watching him play and being alongside him is a dream," Ansu Fati said about the legendary Argentine.
