OFFICIAL: Dortmund activate clause to sign Emre Can on permanent deal until 2024
Borussia Dortmund have officially activated the transfer of Emre Can from Juventus on a 4-year contract until 2024.
The German midfielder left Juventus to join BVB on an initial loan move in January, and now the Bundesliga side have made it permanent.
The 26-year-old has played just two Bundesliga games before Borussia announced the activation of the clause, which is believed to be around €26 million.
The Germany international arrived at Juventus on a free transfer from Liverpool in 2018 and scored four goals in 45 appearances for the Serie A club.
However, he struggled to claim a spot under new boss Maurizio Sarri this season before leaving for BVB in January.
