Former Barcelona physiotherapist 'accused of sexual harassment'

The prosecutor's office requests seven years in prison for the one who in 2016 was a physiotherapist and osteopath of FC Barcelona, J.J.LL. , who is accused of having sexually abused an employee of the Azulgrana club at Camp Nou facilities, as published by El Periódico de Catalunya.

Barça, as pointed out by the aforementioned media, was aware of the facts when the complaint was imposed and at that time terminated the contract of the physiotherapist, who had exercised for several years in the club passing through different sections.

The public prosecution, in addition to the request for imprisonment, also calls for a ban on the accused from approaching the alleged victim, six years probation and payment of compensation 10,000 euros to the victim. The trial, meanwhile, was scheduled for next week in Barcelona, although the coronavirus crisis could suspend it.
