'Green, I love you green' - Barca keeper coach delighted at Betis beating Madrid

Barcelona goalkeeper coach Jon Pascua Ibarrola did not hide his delight at Real Betis beating Real Madrid on Sunday night, sharing the poem 'Sleepwalking Romance' by Federico Garcia Lorca, which praises the colour green.

Betis famously wear green-and-white stripes, so, given the fact that Ibarrola and the rest of Quique Setien's coaching team were in charge of Los Verdiblancos were two seasons, this was in homage to them.

'Green, I love you green," Garcia Lorca's poem begins.

'Wind green. Green branches.

'The boat on the sea

'and the horse in the mountain.

'With the shadow on the waist,

'she dreams on her railing,

'green flesh, green hair,

'with eyes of cold silver.

'Green, I love you green.'

By beating Real Madrid, Betis allowed Barcelona to finish the weekend two points clear of Los Blancos after having beaten Real Sociedad 1-0 at the Camp Nou on Saturday evening.
