Liverpool fans agree on where blame lies for Chelsea defeat in FA Cup

Liverpool suffered another disappointing defeat on Tuesday evening as they went down 2-0 at Chelsea in the FA Cup and it has led to reaction aplenty.

Adrian fumbled Willian's effort in the first half into his own net to give Chelsea the lead before Ross Barkley doubled the home side's advantage in the second period.

Liverpool looked a shadow of the side which has built up a 22-point lead at the top of the Premier League.

But this is not a sudden occurrence, with Jurgen Klopp's men now having lost three of their last four matches in all competitions.

Fans have been taking to Twitter to explain the loss.

And whilst the absence of Jordan Henderson dominated the headlines after a 3-0 defeat to Watford in the Premier League, Liverpool supporters have been blaming the entire team for a poor showing at Stamford Bridge:

Everything started to go a little sour for Liverpool at Atletico Madrid last month when they lost 1-0 in their last 16 first-leg tie in the Champions League.

The Reds narrowly escaped a loss at home to West Ham in a 3-2 win.

But their unbeaten league run ended at the hands of Watford at the weekend, before another defeat in the fifth round of the FA Cup at Chelsea.

Liverpool host Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp will be desperate for his side to reassert themselves and tighten the grip on the title. Follow us on Twitter and on Facebook
