Inter are looking to speed up negotiations for Verona starlet Kumbulla

Inter are looking to speed up negotiations for Hellas Verona starlet Marash Kumbulla, according to a report from today's paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere Dello Sport.

The report details how the 19-year-old Albanian defender's value has dropped to around €20 million, in part due to the ongoing Coronavirus emergency, which is expected to heavily impact on the football transfer market. The Nerazzurri are prepared to give the Gialloblu Federico Dimarco and Eddie Salcedo in exchange for the teenager.

Kumbulla could then be sent back to Verona on loan next season in order to continue his development and give the provincial side time to find an adequate replacement, the report continues. The 19-year-old has made 19 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1581 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and helped the side have one of the strongest defences in the league.
