Official: South Korea to restart 2020 K League season on May 8th

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, South Korea has announced that they will restart their professional league on May 8th.

According to the Korea Football Association, the 2020 K League (Korea Professional Football League) season will officially kick off on May 8th with an opening fixture between Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors and Suwon Samsung Bluewings.

If players test positive for coronavirus during the season, the related clubs will postpone their matches until at least 2 weeks later.
