Rakitic: I am more close to Ter Stegen at Barca & we try to help each other

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has revealed how he's coping with the coronavirus crisis.

The Croatian was speaking to Biel, an 11-year-old patient at the Sant Joan de Deu Hospital in Barcelona, via the Barca Foundation.

"I train with do classes with my daughters," Rakitic said when asked about his daily routine.

"We want to get back to enjoying life, but we have to get through this with a smile.

"We have a Barcelona group chat and I've also got one with the Croatian national team.

"The person I speak to most is [Marc-Andre] Ter Stegen because we live really close and we try to help each other.

"The dressing room is very united."

Rakitic also revealed that he's gluten intolerant and tries to eat the right things.

"I always try to take care of myself and even more so at the moment," he said.

"[I eat] lots of salad, fresh things.

"Sometimes we close our eyes and eat a piece of meat."
