Arsenal Receive Huge Boost In Their Pursuit Of Emmanuel Dennis

Arsenal Pursuit Of Emmanuel Dennis
Arsenal have been long linked with the transfer of Emmanuel Dennis and his Club Brugge manager Philippe Clement has admitted that he will not be able to keep hold of the striker thus the Nigerian is on his way out soon in the summer.

The Gunners’ boss Mikel Arteta is keen to overhaul his squad anyway to mould the team in his own image, with Dennis on his shortlist.

Dennis was linked with clubs last season and he was desperate to leave.

However, Club Brugge manager managed to convince the 22-year-old to stay another year after upping his wages.

That new contract saw his time extended until 2022 but that is unlikely to deter bids.
Not least Arsenal, who are looking to snap up the Nigerian – with a price-tag mooted at £22m.

Newcastle, Brighton, Sheffield United, Watford, Monaco and Sampdoria are also reportedly interested in Dennis.

And Clement has admitted he is powerless to keep hold of the striker.
“It is very likely that Dennis will leave,” he told La Derniere Heure. “He can also count on a lot of interest.

“It is time for him to take a new step.”
