Barcelona star suffers relapse after just days of resuming training

Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho has suffered a set back after just a few days of training resumption with the Bundesliga set to get back underway next week.

Coutinho will miss the clash against Union Berlin after he injured his right ankle, the former Liverpool midfielder will miss a month and a half on the sideline after suffering the setback.

The report in Mundo Deportivo claimed that Coutinho could miss the remainder of the season, or be back to fitness just in time for Bayern’s last league game in the 2019/20 campaign.

Coutinho could still play in the Champions League in August has he still has some month to recuperate ahead of the Champions League.

This is not good news for Bayern and Barcelona, Bayern Munich has already told Barcelona that they are not willing to trigger the buy-out close of the Brazilian star.

Chelsea and Newcastle United are interested in signing the 27-year-old Brazilian midfielder.
