BREAKING – Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr Accepts New NFF Contract
The German tactician told a Radio France reporter that he agreed to sign the deal despite the stringent conditions that were included in the new contract because he has unfinished business with the Nigeria squad.
Rohr believes the Eagles is filled with young but experienced players who will do great things in the coming years.
The Franco-German coach is expected to sign the contract extension next week.
Rohr who accepted a pay cut also agreed to stay in Nigeria as he continues to be in charge till 2022.
He has been in charge of the Nigerian national football team since August 2016, leading the 2013 African champions to a third-place finish at the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
