Chelsea attacker set to quit Stamford Bridge at the end of the season

Chelsea star Willian is set to quit Stamford Bridge at the end of the current campaign as he continues to hold out for a three-year deal.

The Brazilian attacker future remains uncertain as he continues to hold out for a three-year deal as against the two- year deal presented to him at the club.

The club’s policy is to give just a year deal to a player above 30 years of age and Willian, 31, wants more from the club in 2013.

“It’s a difficult situation,” he said. “Chelsea offered me two years and they are not going to change.

“I don’t know if it will be possible to stay. My goal is to continue working and focus on the remainder of the season so that Chelsea can continue winning games.

“I have a clear head and I’m focused for the rest of the season that we have left. Let’s see what happens.”

Willian made 226 appearances for Chelsea and scored 33 goals for the Blues.
