Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is handed a big boost ahead of the Premier League return as Christian Pulisic is fit to return to the pitch.

Pulisic joined Chelsea last summer but he has been inconsistent for the Blues as his game time was hampered by injuries but amid that, he has gone to score six goals and created six assists in 23 appearances before he suffered a season threatening injury in January.

The 21-year-old star was forced to miss 12 games in all competitions before the suspension of the league, and with Chelsea vying for a Champions League slot in the Premier League his return would be a big boost for Lampard’s team who is still much alive in the FA Cup and the Champions League.

Pulisic was able to make a return due to the suspension of the league as a result of the outbreak of the pandemic disease.

However, the USA international has provided an update on his status as he has continued his recovery during the enforced lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, and it sounds as though Chelsea will have him back in the mix if or when the season is given the green light to restart.
