Chelsea forward arrested by Metropolitan Police over an incident with woman
Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi has been arrested by Metropolitan Police over an incident with a woman early hours of Monday morning.
Metropolitan Police officers and an ambulance attended the 19-year-old’s home after being called by a woman Hudson-Odoi had allegedly invited to his apartment earlier in the evening.
Hudson-Odoi was taken into police custody while the woman was transported to the hospital before officers returned to the England international’s residence to continue their investigation.
A police spokesman said via The Sun: “Police and London Ambulance Service were called at 00.53 a.m. on Sunday, May 17 to a report of an unwell woman. A man was arrested at the scene. He was released from custody and bailed to return on a date in mid-June. Enquiries continue.”
Hudson-Odoi was one of the first footballers in the UK to confirm he had to be infected with the Covid-19 in March, in March and is due to return to group training this week if the Premier League vote to accept safety protocols determined by discussions between clubs, players, medical experts and government.
