Conte sends message to present Chelsea coach Frank Lampard about his skills & career

Former Blues boss Antonio Conte sends message to present Chelsea manager Frank Lampard about his skills & career to becomes one of the best coaches in world football.

Conte won Premier League title and Emirate FA Cup in his two years stay at Stamford Bridge as the Europa League holders rediscovering a spark that had been lost during Jose Mourinho’s second spell with the club before the left the West London outfit in 2018 and subsequently returned to Italy to take charge of Inter Milan.

Lampard return to Chelsea last summer as the club coach having manage one season at Championship side Derby County after seeing Maurizio Sarri head back to his homeland to team up with Serie A holders Juventus.


Conte believes Lampard will thrive in a demanding post, telling Sky Sports of a man following in his footsteps: “I think he is doing a really good job, Frank.

“This is his second experience after Derby County so to be the coach of a top team is not easy.

“I think he has the skills and ability to become one of the best managers in the world. He has to continue to work in this way and I wish him the best for the future.”

Chelsea had largely thrived under Lampard before the season was suspended, with the young and exciting squad climbing to fourth in the Premier League and reaching the knockout stages of the Champions League.
