Felipe talks about Diego Simeone and Tite, The two great coaches in his career

The Brazilian centre-back Felipe has compared the two most important coaches of his career, Diego Simeone and Tite, and explained what he has learned from both of them.

Felipe moved from FC Porto to Atletico Madrid in July 2019 and is clearly enjoying life under Simeone.

He began his career with União Mogi and was loaned to Bragantino before joining Corinthians in 2012. He played 109 times for the club, winning honours including the 2012 FIFA Club World Cup and the 2015 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. In 2016, he joined Porto, where he won a Primeira Liga title in 2018 before being signed by Atlético Madrid a year later.

When speaking to iG Esporte he said  "They are two great coaches, who work a lot on the defensive side, I've learnt a lot from both of them. At Atletico Madrid, I'm still at the beginning, but I'm already progressing.

Simeone likes to talk a lot, especially about the parts where the player has more difficulties. He's a bit more demanding than Tite. He puts pressure on you in his own way.

"He's tougher, but the players know it's for their own good."

Felipe's relationship with Tite goes back some time as the two worked together at Corinthians back from 2012 till 2016. With Tite, I think I learned almost everything and I still use a lot of what I learned," Felipe added.

"He's very human, honest and tolerant.
"He never gave me a hard time or scolded me.
"He's always been polite.
"With him, what you see is what you get."
