Former Barcelona star Ronald Koeman was hospitalised for a heart problem, according to the report in Marca.

Koeman was immediately attended to by the medical personnel as the medical team helped to stop the situation from becoming worse.

The former Everton manager has regained his consciousness after the treatment, the 57-year-old manager had a successful playing career with numerous title won in Holland and Spain, he is considered as the highest-scoring defender in the history of football, Koeman had over 250 goals to his name a statistic most attackers can’t boast of.

Koeman was linked with a move to Barcelona coaching job before the sack of Ernesto Valverde but the Dutchman turned down the offer with as he is keen on leading the orange boys to the Euro 2020 before it was postponed to the summer of 2021.
