Henrikh Mkhitaryan Reveals The Club He Wants To Be Next Season

Arsenal’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan has revealed the club he wants to play for when next season kicks off.

The attacker joined Roma on a season-long loan deal from Arsenal in the summer of 2019.
Mkhitaryan, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winge, is scheduled to return to his parent club Arsenal at the end of the season.

However, the Armenia international has said that he would like to stay at Roma next season.
Gianlucadimarzio.com quotes the 31-year-old former Manchester United player as saying: “I felt comfortable right away, both with the team and the city, it would be nice to stay.

“The main objective is to qualify for the Champions League and win some titles.”
Mkhitaryan added: “I don’t have many years left and I want to leave a positive memory, maybe tied to a title or something good for the team.

“Italian football is underrated, it has some unique qualities and it’s interesting playing here. It’s not like twenty years ago but it’s improving and I’m happy to play here.”

Mkhitaryan has made eight starts and five substitute appearances in Serie A for Roma so far this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in the process.
