Key Player Narrows Down Paul Pogba’s Transfer To Real Madrid

Paul Pogba’s Transfer To Real Madrid
Real Madrid has been touted as one of the two most likely destinations should Paul Pogba leave Manchester United due to compatriot Zinedine Zidane’s fondness for him.

But it appears even one of the wealthiest clubs in the world Madrid have been outpriced by his demands.

Marca last week reported that even if Pogba is willing to negotiate, the LaLiga giants are not prepared to meet his salary demands – favouring using the funds for a future bid for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland – and have therefore put their interest to one side.

And now they have secured the future of central midfielder Casemiro, who has emerged as an important player for Zidane through his two reigns as manager.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the midfielder’s contract renewal has been “closed” and that they have today agreed all the terms of his multi-million-pound extension.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to be willing to sell Pogba this summer although publicly the Norwegian maintains that the player is an asset for United and says he is looking forward to pairing him with Bruno Fernandes.

Juventus have already effectively pulled out of a move for Pogba after becoming the first Italian club to launch their own salary cap.
