Bayern Munich attacker Robert Lewandowski aimed a sly dig at Borussia Dortmund fans after his team recorded a 1-0 victory over his former side.

Joshua Kimmich’s lone goal in the first half was enough for Bayern Munich to claim the three points as the move close in winning the title.

With the victory against Dortmund Bayern Munich is now seven points clear ahead of Dortmund on the top of the Bundesliga table.

Dortmund looked dangerous before the break and threatened through Erling Haaland and Thorgan Hazard but Kimmich’s goal knocked the wind out of their sails.

The game was, of course, played behind closed doors, robbing Dortmund of their home advantage.

Bayern Munich is almost through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League following a 3-0 win over Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge in the first leg of the encounter.
