Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has identified 15 players who he believes are on course to be future stars in world football.

The 32-year-old’s picks were revealed as part of Topps’ Champions League cards, which were designed by Messi.

The cards included the ‘Greatest Moments’ of his career and his picks for ‘Top Talents’ and ‘Youth on the Rise.’

Messi named Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold amongst his 15-man list, saying he is “impressive going forward” and branded him the “future.”

The six-time Ballon d’Or winner said that Trent would do “amazing things” in football.
