Liverpool want to offload three stars to raise money to buy Chelsea & Man Utd transfer target

Liverpool want to offload three players to raise money to buy Chelsea and Manchester United transfer target Timo Warner in the summer.

The Reds has been continued to link with a move for Germany international, although the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak means that the German might have to wait until next summer to join the Reds.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is allegedly in regular contact with the 24-year-old, and according to The Athletic, a move could take place this summer if the Merseyside giants manage to sell three players.

The report claims that the Reds are hoping to raise £30m by sanctioning Xherdan Shaqiri’s exit, while the Premier League leaders are also open to offers for Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic.

Wilson has spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan with Bournemouth, while Grujic is on loan with Hertha Berlin and featured in their 3-0 win over Hoffenheim last weekend.

Werner, who has also been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United, has scored 27 times and provided 12 assists in 37 appearances for his Bundesliga outfit this season.
