Man Utd Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Gives Up On Ighalo, Ready To Sign An Alternative

Solskjaer Gives Up On Ighalo Sign Alternative
Manchester United desperately tried to sign a striker in January and made a £20million bid for this alternative on deadline day but it was rejected and they moved to sign Odion Ighalo on loan from Shanghai Shenhua.

United are reportedly now ready to make another attempt to bring Joshua King back to the club.

If the ex-Super Eagles star does leave, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will have a gap in his forward line again which needs filling and according to Sky Sports, the Red Devils are ready to make another move for King.

However, the report claims four of the Premier League’s top six are all interested in King.

King was denied a return at the start of the year and spoke out about what happened and hinted at being frustrated at the move failing to materialise.

Here’s what he told Norwegian broadcaster TV2: “How close it was I have no complete answer to.

“I have to watch what I say. I had some faith that it was going to happen.
“And it was a bit sensitive for me considering that I moved to England as a 16-year-old to achieve my dream and wanted to reach that goal at Manchester United.”

Meanwhile, former West Ham goalkeeper Shaka Hislop feels Anthony Martial could be on his way out of Old Trafford if they sign a world-class striker in the summer.

Moussa Dembele and Timo Werner have been linked with a move to United and Hislop believe Martial should be accessing his options.
