Manchester United joins the race to sign Liverpool target Timo Werner

Manchester United has joined the race to sign Liverpool target Timo Werner as the Red Devils aim to add more depth to their attack.

Liverpool has been in the pursuit for the signature of the RB Leipzig attacker for the past few seasons as manager Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of the Germany international.

The recent report in the British media intimate that Liverpool is not going to pay the player’s buyout clause and the report in ESPN says that Manchester United is eager to jump the queue and sign the attacker in the summer.

RB Leipzig placed £52 million buyout clause on the 24-year old attacker, he would be a young signing in the manner that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been making his recent signing in the past 12 months.

Werner’s contract expires in June so their a high possibility that he could play in the Premier League next season.
