See Lionel Messi’s Newly Invented Method Of Training On His Own At Barcelona

Barcelona players are back in training together having spent time on their own and superstar Lionel Messi came up with an impressive way to practise his heading ahead of a return for La Liga.

Until today, players had to have coronavirus tests before recently resuming individual training.

They are now allowed to train in groups of no more than ten with the next phase being a return to full training before a possible La Liga restart behind closed doors on June 12.

Though Messi was filmed training on his own, and it seems the six-time Ballon d’Or winner doesn’t need his team-mates to help him practise his heading.

Setting up with an elevated net around eight yards away from himself, the Argentine is seen doing some kick-ups.

He then uses his left foot to kick the ball high in the air before superbly heading it straight into the basketball-style net.

La Liga are keen to return and finish the season with Messi’s Barca top of the table by two points, ahead of rivals Real Madrid.

Messi had recently admitted that returning to football behind closed doors will be a strange sensation.
