Super Eagles full-back Ola Aina names three Nigerian players in his dream eleven

Super Eagles full-back Ola Aina has named three Nigerian players in his dream eleven with consisted the players he played during his career so far.

The 23-year-old started his career with in the 2012–13 but the Nigeria international joined Torino temporarily in August 2018 for his second loan spell out of Stamford Bridge before making the move permanent last summer.

Aina made his Premier League debut in a 3–0 victory over Leicester City, replacing goalscorer fellow countryman Victor Moses in the 82nd minute on 15 October 2016.


Super Eagles full-back in an Instagram Live conversation with Jamie Age, Aina opted for a 4-3-3 formation with former Chelsea and Arsenal Petr Cech in goal.

However, in the four-man defence Blues legend John Terry was joined by Udinese center-back William Troost-Ekong, with Ben Chilwell and Branislav Ivanović occupying the left-back and right-back position separately.


Just in case you were wondering why the Leicester City defender was chosen, because of Aina and Chelsea transfer target where teammate during their time in the England U19 squad.

Another Leicester City player in Wilfred Ndidi is joined in midfield by forgotten Brazil international Oscar and 2010 FIFA World Cup winner Cesc Fabregas.

There is Nigerian representation in the three-man attack his closest friend Alex Iwobi slotting in as the right-winger and playing alongside last summer Real Madrid signing Eden Hazard and Spanish striker Diego Costa.
Here is Aina’s dream eleven: Cech; Ivanovic, Terry, Troost-Ekong, Chilwell; Fabregas, Ndidi, Oscar; Iwobi, Costa, Hazard.
This season, Aina has played 25 games in all competitions for Torino who are 15th in the Serie A table.
