Bruno Fernandes Speaks On Pogba Partnership Ahead Of Spurs Clash
Fans have been wanting to see the Portuguese ace partnering up with star midfielder Pogba for six months but the France international has been dealing with a recurring ankle problem that has sidelined him ever since Boxing Day.
The Portugal international is looking forward to getting back in action after a three-month hiatus and would be very keen to work with Pogba on the centre of the pitch.
Fernandes told talkSPORT: “We are so excited to restart the season and play again.
“I think everyone is excited to see Paul Pogba play again after his long injury.
“For me, playing alongside him will be amazing, obviously everyone wants to play with the best players and Paul is one of them.
“But we have a lot of good players and the most important thing is the results for Manchester United.’’
United are scheduled to take on Tottenham away on Friday.
