To set up this simulation, we used kick-off mode within FIFA 20 but didn't select a team to control; we then selected the teams and watched the match play out by itself.

We predict that Man City could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with the line-up as follows: Ederson; Walker, Otamendi, Laporte, Mendy; Rodri, Gundogan, De Bruyne; Mahrez, Sterling, Jesus.

FIFA 20 predicts that the points will be shared on Thursday evening, with all the action coming in a frantic second-half.

The first-half was quiet in terms of chances for both sides, with Nicolas Otamendi heading wide from a corner and Olivier Giroud firing over from long-range, in what were the only actions of note.

But it all kicked off after the break, with City starting the second-half with a much higher tempo, and it led to the opening goal.

Just three minutes after the restart, Pep Guardiola's side took the lead against the Blues thanks to a brilliant finish from Ilkay Gundogan.

After some intricate build-up play, Gundogan found himself with some space on the edge of the Chelsea area and duly fired a shot towards goal, which flew straight into the top corner past a helpless Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The American skipped past Aymeric Laporte in the City area and fired a low shot into Ederson's near post to level the score, with Pulisic bagging his second goal in as many league games.

Chelsea had a number of chances to win the game as City tired, with Olivier Giroud seeing an effort well saved by Ederson.

And the Brazilian was on hand once again in the final five minutes, with Tammy Abraham having an effort tipped over the bar, with the home side putting real pressure on City's goal.

But City held firm to secure a hard-fought draw at Stamford Bridge.
