Etebo Scores First La Liga Goal Still Getafe’s Winless Run Continues

Etebo Scores First La Liga Goal
Stoke City loanee Oghenekaro Etebo scored his first goal for Getafe as they shared the spoils against Eibar on Saturday at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

The Super Eagles midfielder returned to the starting line up after making a late substitute appearance in Getate’s last outing against relegation-threatened Espanyol.

Etebo broke the deadlock for his team after half an hour and it was his first goal for the club since arriving in January.

Eibar later hit on the stroke of half time, through their Brazilian import Charles Dias de Oliveira.
The Nigerian who has now featured in all Getate’s three games after the league restart was later replaced in the second of the game because of injury.

The game ended in a 1 – 1 draw at the end of 90 minutes and it’s another huge set back for Getafe who are hoping to make it to the next season’s Champions League.
