Here’s All Arsenal Injury Latest Ahead Of Man City Clash

Arsenal Injury Latest Man City
Arsenal will return to action with a trip to Manchester City on Wednesday next week, and manager Mikel Arteta will hope to have as many fully fit players as possible at his disposal.

The Gunners have only one long-term absentee and a couple of others who are expected to be touch and go for the first game back.

Here’s a look at Arsenal’s injury worries.

Calum Chambers
The 25-year-old will not be back in action in time for the Premier League’s return. Chambers had surgery on a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in January and is expected to be out until at least August.

Hector Bellerin
The Spaniard has been gradually and cautiously working his way back to full fitness after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligaments in his right knee during the 2018/19 season.

According to Arsenal’s former head of high performance Darren Burgess, Bellerin is likely to thrive after this enforced hiatus.

Rob Holding
Holding was out with a bruised knee shortly before Christmas, too, and found a regular place in the first team hard to come by following the turn of the year.

But the break will have allowed the 24-year-old defender to work on his weak points.

Lucas Torreira
The tenacious midfielder fractured his ankle in March and it seemed then that he was almost certain to miss the remainder of the season.

But the postponement could give the Uruguayan a chance to return before the campaign is over. The Gunners will be wary of rushing Torreira back from such a serious injury, though.
