Official: Liverpool Can Win The Title At Goodison Park

Liverpool could have the chance to win the Premier League at Goodison Park as it’s been confirmed that the Merseyside Derby on Sunday 21st June will be allowed to played at Everton’s home stadium.

Discussions had been held about potentially playing the game at a neutral venue to prevent crowds gathering outside of Goodison Park, with Wembley, St Mary’s and the King Power Stadium all touted as potential places for the match to be played.

However, the game will now be played at Goodison, meaning Liverpool could have the chance to win the title at their rivals’ stadium

For this to happen, Arsenal will need to defeat Manchester City on Wednesday, June 17th. If that happens, then a win for Liverpool at Goodison will see the Reds crowned as Premier League champions for the first time, and as the winners of England’s top-flight for the first time in 30 years.
