Revealed! How PSG Made Mighty Offer To Van Dijk Before Agreeing New Deal

PSG Offer To Van Dijk
Paris Saint-Germain are said to have approached Liverpool ace Virgil van Dijk with a contract worth an incredible £280,000-per-week, an increase of £100,000-per-week on his current salary.

The Parisians are on the hunt for a new centre-back this summer, with Thiago Silva set to leave the club.

Kalidou Koulibaly is also being looked at by club chiefs, but the PFA Players’ Player of the Year was reportedly their original target.

According to The Sun, PSG told Van Dijk they were keen on signing him this summer and would offer him £280,000-per-week if he joined.

But instead, the Dutchman decided to stay at the European champions.

Van Dijk’s new contract is expected to be confirmed once Jurgen Klop’s side have got the league wrapped up.

Liverpool currently need a maximum of six points to be crowned champions, and can do so next Sunday against Everton provided Arsenal beat Manchester City on Wednesday.

Once the season is completed, Klopp wants to focus on securing the futures of other first-team stars.
