Sporting Director Confirms Cavani, Silva Will Leave PSG As Free Agents This Summer

Cavani Silva Leave PSG Free Agents
Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has confirmed Edinson Cavani and Thiago Silva will leave the club this summer.

Striker Cavani and defender Silva will leave PSG as free agents when their contract expires.
‘It’s true, we are reaching the end of the road with them,’ Leonardo told Le Journal du Dimanche newspaper.

‘The idea is to keep them until the end of August so that they can play in the Champions League.’
The announcement comes after Ander Herrera revealed team-mate Cavani wants to secure a move to LaLiga.

The striker has been heavily linked with a move to Atletico Madrid ahead of the expiration of his contract next month after the Spanish side had a £8.5million bid rejected in January.

And Herrera believes Cavani is close to agreeing a move after seven years with the Parc des Princes.
The 33-year-old Cavani is likely to favour a move away from France in order to gain more playing time after Mauro Icardi secured a permanent switch from Inter Milan last week.

Injuries limited Cavani to 14 league appearances for the French champions this season but he still managed four goals and two assists.
