Ndidi Blamed Leicester FA Cup Loss Chelsea
Wilfred Ndidi has been blamed for Leicester City’s defeat against Chelsea in the English FA Cup which sent the Blues to the last four.

That is the view of Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand who blames Nigerian for Leicester FA Cup defeat to Chelsea.

Since Claudio Ranieri won the Premier League title with Leicester City last three seasons, the Foxes have not won any trophy since then.

However, their hopes of landing a trophy this season has hit a rock following their defeat against Chelsea in the FA Cup as they are now up to finish among the top four in the Premier League.

Despite their resilience not to concede against Chelsea in the big encounter, Ross Barkley came off the bench to net the winning goal for the Blues after he got a nice assist from Willian.

While speaking on Leicester City defeat, Rio Ferdinand felt that Ndidi should have blocked the ball well considering the position he plays.

“Once you see the gap between the centre-backs when the ball’s wide, his job is to drop in, drop in here and be that guard in there.

If you keep your eye on Ndidi here and look how many times he looked at Barkley,” Ferdinand told BT Sport.
