Aubameyang Confirms His Continued Stay With Arsenal On Instagram Video

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang appears to have confirmed his Arsenal stay after he blinked during an Instagram live video with his brother Willy.

The cub captain has just one year left on his deal at the Emirates, but he has left fans optimistic he will extend his contract after he answered a supporter’s request.

Negotiations are said to be positive over the Gabon international signing a new deal in North London, with the striker understood to be seeking £250,000-a-week.

And after Bukayo Saka’s contract extension was announced, Aubameyang, 31, confirmed talks are planned about him committing his future to Arsenal.

Aubameyang appeared with his brother Willy in an Instagram live video which was posted on Twitter today.

In the video an Arsenal fan urges him: “Blink if you’re gunna sign.”

Moments later, the forward winked at the camera before performing an exaggerated wink and grinning wildly, leaving Arsenal fans to believe it’s a sure sign he’s staying.

One tweeted: “Done deal.”
Another messaged: “It’s the hope that kills ya.”

Meanwhile, one simply stated: “He’s staying.”
