Bailly clear to return after scary injury against Chelsea

Eric Bailly has been given the green light to returning to Manchester after suffering an unfortunate injury against Chelsea on Sunday, as per the Mirror.

The Ivorian suffered a nasty gash and a concussion after clashing heads with Harry Maguire towards the end of the first half.

He complained of pain in his neck alongside the concussion, due to which he was transferred to two different hospitals on Sunday for appropriate checks.

But the centre-back was quickly released after doctors made sure he hadn’t suffered any serious injury after that ordeal.

Football Association’s strict rules probably mean that Bailly won’t be able to feature in United’s remaining Premier League games, even if he’s possibly fit enough for them.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also bemoaned the Ivorian’s departure from the game after which United experienced a defensive meltdown.
