Barcelona and Real Madrid set to pull out in the race to sign PSG star Neymar

Barcelona and Real Madrid are prepared to pull out of the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar.

The Catalan club has decided that they cannot afford the cost to bring the former Barcelona star to Camp Nou, as Marca suggested.

Neymar joined Barcelona in 2017 in a world record deal of £200million.
Real Madrid is not also in the race to sign the Brazilian attacker as they fancy a move for his teammate Kylian Mbappe.

Barcelona was keen on signing the Brazilian ace after the arrival of Ousmane Dembele, Philippe Coutinho and even Antoine Griezmann did not complement Lionel Messi’s effort in the attack like Neymar did before he switched allegiance to Paris Saint-Germain three seasons ago.

Barcelona will need massive offload to meet the asking price of Neymar, the Catalan outfit is willing to sell massively this summer and the La Liga outfit is keen on signing Inter Milan attacker Lautaro Martinez, while Real Madrid is interested in the signing of Borussia Dortmund attacker Erling Braut Haaland and Mbappe as their attacking reinforcement in the coming season.
