Barcelona Junior Firpo ruled out of Villarreal clash with hip injury

Barcelona will be without the service of there right back Junior Firpo as the confirmed on Sunday that he is out of Sunday’s game at Villarreal because of a hip injury.

The left-back was named in the initial travelling squad for the match but won’t feature at all at the Estadio de la Cerámica because of the problem.

Of course it’s unlikely Quique Setien would have named Junior in his starting XI, but his absence does leave Barca a little short of back-up options in defence.

Samuel Umtiti is also missing with another knee problem, but Barca B youngsters Dani Morer, Ronald Araujo and Jorge Cuenca are also in the squad.
