Chelsea manager Lampard rules out Kante for Norwich clash.

Chelsea manager Lampard rules out Kante for Norwich clash.

N'Golo is simply not fit yet but he might still feature against Man United on Sunday, as per the boss.
Christensen, however, is back with the squad and will be available.

Frank would really wish for a more settled team with established partnerships but alas it's not possible now.

"Kante's not fit, so that's the end of that one," Lampard said at the press conference ahead of the game against Norwich.

"Christensen had to come off at half-time [at Sheffield United] with an injury but he is back in the squad, and then the rest we're where we were.

"I don't want to give my starting lineup away but we have a group that's competing. I also have to think about the freshness of the squad.

"As much as we would like a settled team, certain partnerships, for the reasons of where we're at that hasn't always been easy. We'll see for tomorrow."

However, Frank has revealed that the Frenchman 'has a chance' of featuring against Manchester United in FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.

N'Golo Kante was forced off the pitch midway through the second half in the Watford win more than a week ago.

It takes him a bit more time to recover from a low-level hamstring injury that initially predicted, as Frank previously hoped N'Golo would be fit for Sheffield clash already.
