Chelsea Milinkovic-Savic Target play down exit rumours

Milinkovic-Savic is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Italian club Lazio and the Serbian national team.

With romour flying round linking him with different virous club across Europe, but the player has come out to play down those news.

"My objective since the first day was to play in the Champions League with Lazio, now we finally achieved it," Sergej Milinkovic-Savic told Sky Sport Italia (h/t Football Italia).

"I am happy here, my mind is focused on Lazio, I have a contract for many years and so… I am staying. My agent will think about the rest."

The Roman side have secured a top-four spot as they are 11 points ahead of their arch-rivals Roma who are currently in fifth place, with three games to go.

There's a tiny chance Lazio won't play in CL next year. That will happen if Napoli win this year's edition of the Champions League and Roma claim the Europa League title this season.

Looks unlikely, huh? So perhaps Milinkovic-Savic is going to stay at Simone Inzaghi's side in spite of all reports linking the Serb with Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United and PSG.
