Dani Alves: 'Barcelona are just another team, they lack identity and understanding

The Brazilian legend believes 'his' Barca had their special identity and were able to dominate for the whole match.

He also recalls the special understanding between his former teammates which made everything look easy.

"What this Barca lacks is the identity they have always had, like Ronaldinho's Barca, our Barca," Dani Alves told CatRadio when asked on his former club's recent struggles.

The Brazilian elaborated on this issue: "The identity of a team that dominates for 90 minutes, 100 minutes, or 150 minutes. Barca are there for people to enjoy."

On the current Barca, the legendary full-back added: "Now what I see, from the outside, is that Barca are just another team. They used to have an understanding throughout the team and made things look easy."

Barcelona are at risk of finishing the 2019-2020 campaign without a single trophy following Real Madrid's La Liga triumph.

The Catalans' only chance for silverware is the Champions League which they haven't won since 2015.
