Giroud on chelsea win: 'The team was under pressure, we needed that win'

Olivier Giroud is obviously happy to finally get the 3 points after such a rollercoaster of a weekend.

He believes the Blues could have and should have scored more goals against the Canaries.

"We needed to be patient, to move the ball quick against a team who play with a very deep block.

At the end of the day we created a lot of chances", he told Sky Sports after Norwich clash.

"It was important to score before half time. We were very pleased with that.

"We could and we should have scored more goals.

"I think the team was a bit under pressure, we needed that win definitely. So, yeah, we are happy."

Olivier scored Chelsea's sole goal of the night and was one of the two best Blues' players on the pitch. He even received the Man of the Match award from the Premier League.

As for the pressure, of course, it will now be much easier to travel to Liverpool sitting third with 64 points.
