The Belgian returned to training on Tuesday but he was forced to pull out towards the end of the training match with the attacker feeling unease around his ankle according to Cadena Ser, that was done to prevent further damage on the ankle he is expected to feature against Alaves on Friday in the upcoming La Liga clash.

Hazard missed almost three months of action this season after he suffered from a broken bone in his foot against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last year November and he was forced to go under the knife.

Zidane will be without his influential captain Sergio Ramos, Nacho Fernandez, Luka Jovic and Dani Carvajal for the clash against Alaves on Friday evening.

Hazard has scored just once in 19 games for Real Madrid.
