'I have no idea If he will play for me next year': Klopp on Thiago transfer rumours

Liverpool boss Klopp remains coy on Thiago links as he can't say anything on the matter at the moment.

'Thiago is a great player, but also a Bayern player.' "I have no idea who will play for me next year", Klopp told Sky Sports Germany.

"There is nothing to say at the moment.

"Thiago Alcantara is a great player, but also a Bayern Munich player. With that, everything is actually said. There is nothing to say about it!"

Well, it's actually pointless to ask Jurgen about Liverpool's potential transfer targets as he deflects these questions masterly.

However, that 'at the moment' part is a tiny bit encouraging.

The German media previously claimed that Klopp is an admirer of Thiago's talent and that he asked FSG to approve the transfer. Moreover, some reports even suggest that the Reds have already agreed personal terms with the Spaniard.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich's chiefs clearly want to sell the 29-year-old and they are expected to demand a €30-40 million fee.
